Is the diploma supplement translated too?

Most offices and universities require it together with the diploma because it lists subjects and grades. Check with the receiving institution.

Are grades and subject names translated?

Yes, faithfully to the original. Converting grades into another system is done by the office or university, not the translator.

Do I need a certified or a standard translation?

For recognition of a qualification and official proceedings you need a certified translation. If the diploma is only attached to a CV, a standard translation is usually enough.

Translation of diplomas, school reports and education documents

I translate diplomas, school reports, diploma supplements, exam transcripts and study certificates, from Slovak into Italian and the other way round. Accuracy in the names of schools, study programmes and grades matters here, because the office compares them with its own education system.

When the document serves the recognition of a qualification, I issue a certified translation bound to the document and stamped with a round seal.
